Pahiatua Railcar Society

We are a group of volunteers and enthusiasts who's passion is to preserve, restore and operate ex-New Zealand Railway railcars that operated in the North Island.

Our projects are funded by donations and grants with the ongoing maintenance of our railcars being supported by the heritage railcar trips we offer the public.

You too can support our efforts by making a tax-deductible donation below.

RM 133 Trust Board

The RM 133 Railcar Trust Board was set up in 2000 specifically to save and restore the remains of ex NZR Drewry Twinset Articulated Railcar RM 133.

Later the mostly complete remains of RM 121 were discovered and is now the restoration focus.
